Philosophy Teaching at Oxford

A great deal of undergraduate teaching at the University of Oxford is done, not by college fellows or members of faculty, but by part-time tutors, employed on a casual, termly basis.

This small army of part-time tutors comprises mainly graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.

I became a part-time philosophy tutor at Oxford, for various colleges and for the Department for Continuing Education, shortly before receiving my doctorate there.

I have taught a variety of courses, both face-to-face and online; to the University's conventional undergraduates and to its extra-mural students.

Each term I tutor a number of private students; so if you're seeking an online philosophy tutor, then please email me: Philosophy Tuition Enquiry
